[Contest Announcement] Edmentum Summer Academic Sprints

Summer learning loss is real—in fact, studies show that kids lose up to one month of overall learning over summer vacation. As an educator, what can you do with tools you already have to keep students’ skills sharp for the return to school in the fall? If you’re a Study Island user, sign up for Edmentum’s Academic Sprints Contest!

Starting June 1st, Edmentum is challenging students to answer as many questions correctly as possible in Study Island for a chance to win over $4,000 in exciting prizes! This fun summer contest lasts until August 18th, providing a perfect solution to keep students motivated and academically sharp all summer long. Ready to participate? Follow these three easy steps to get started:

  1. Register – A teacher, principal, or school administrator can register their school by filling out our quick online form here.
  2. Spread the word – Encourage others within your school or district to participate as well by handing out these parent and teacher flyers! The more who participate, the better your chances of winning!
  3. Compete – Schools and students with an overall percentage correct of 60% or above for the contest period will be eligible to win!

On your mark….sprint! Register your classroom or school to get the competition started before school lets out. Registration is now open, and the contest starts June 1st.
