[Edmentum’s Commitment] Announcing Our Partnership with Ward’s Science

Edmentum is proud to have partnered with Ward’s Science to offer lab kits for our newly released science courses, Biology and Earth and Space Science. These science courses have been designed to be aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards, but we didn’t stop there. We wanted to ensure that students had the opportunity to participate in inquiry learning through online simulations and also engage in hands-on experiments and exploration.  The Ward’s Science lab kits will support students with engaging inquiry and laboratory investigation opportunities.

Ward's Science is a premier supplier of science education materials for educators across the country; with a long history of supporting teachers to create science connections for their students. Partnering with Ward's Science allows Edmentum to offer another option for teachers and students to easily source specialized science materials. As a requirement of many state science standards, students must have areas of inquiry-based learning and inquiry skills. Some states even have standards related to the amount of course time students spend on inquiry or labs.

We have worked with Ward’s to provide options for lab kits depending on customers’ needs. For example, the Biology science kit is available with or without a microscope— and refill kits are also available. For students in a virtual environment, this partnership affords a comparable experience to their peers.
