This means they have to be very  knowledgeable and skilled in strategies to motivate and encourage students in an online learning environment. When a student is first enrolled in an EdOptions course, the teacher reaches out to provide an overview of helpful resources available and to make certain the student knows how to contact them. Each day, they grade student work and provide feedback, making sure that the student has a strong understanding of the material at hand. Just like teachers inside school buildings, EdOptions Academy teachers also communicate with parents and school administrators. This communication may take place via email, phone call, text message, or through the collaboration tools within the online curriculum. Teachers may set up one-on-one or small group time (over the phone) with students when extra help and clarification is needed.
