Meet Haleigh!

“My name is Haleigh and I’m a sophomore in high school.  I chose to use EdOptions Academy after moving twice in one semester to different states and needing to keep my credits together.  I definitely made the best choice.  I have always had a goal of graduating early from high school and getting a jump start on college and my future career.  Because EdOptions Academy has given me such an advantage, I plan on taking several more classes to get ahead.

In my spare time, when I’m not in school or working online with EdOptions Academy, I am an avid runner, and I am in my second year as a Varsity Track runner.  I also love soccer and have played Division One soccer for several years.  As long as I’m running or have a ball, I’m in my element.  While I really enjoy my sports, I definitely have a typical girl side and love artistic makeup.  I have assisted my sister, a photographer, as a makeup artist for her photoshoots with several models.  Because of my diverse interests, I actually have a wide range of interests for a career.

I’ve begun exploring potential careers and college majors including Sports Medicine, Psychology, Cosmetology, and Business.  At least I have a little more time to figure out what I want to do with my life!  The colleges I’m most interested in are University of Houston and Texas A&M Galveston.  My next stop will be college visits and narrowing down my career.”
