Exact Path Awarded SIIA CODiE for Best Learning Capacity-Building Solution

We’re proud to announce that Exact Path is the recipient of the 2020 SIIA CODiE Award for the Best Learning Capacity-Building Solution! This category is designed to recognize the best tool that can be used to increase attention, responsibility, independence, and engagement in learning. As the selected winner, Exact Path is distinguished as a digital tool that uses up-to-date research in learning sciences to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the learner’s skills, interest, and time on task by optimizing personalized instruction.

The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) CODiE awards have been celebrating the cutting edge since 1986. This year’s online winner announcement on May 19th celebrated 37 awards given to products and services deployed specifically for education and learning professionals.

A SIIA CODiE Award win is a prestigious honor, following rigorous reviews by expert judges including educators and administrators whose evaluations determined the finalists. SIIA members then vote on the finalist products, and the scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners.

Comments from this year’s judges include:

• “This program offers data and feedback that is individualized to meet the needs of the learner. This is a great product that provides interventions for students in both reading and math.”
• “I appreciate the flexibility of the product to help the teacher choose appropriate lessons, provide practice, and direct interventions for a particular student.”

Additionally, following a demonstration, judges noted the following as program strengths:

• “Students can take the diagnostic assessment throughout the year to ensure that the work they complete to master a skill is retained. As these new diagnostics are completed, their path to learning is adjusted. Older students who are missing a fundamental skill from the lower grades see the material presented in a format suitable for their age.”
• “Learning paths are developed for each individual student to help them eventually meet grade level goals. When students need more intervention, there are multiple resources available to help meet those learning needs.”
