Our new video lessons will fit into your arsenal of teaching tools. They follow the guidelines of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), support multiple learning modalities, and reflect best instructional practices. There are 72 new math and ELA video lessons attached to topics across grades 3, 4, and 5 in our Common Core content, as well as in our content built specifically for Texas, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and California and many other states. Each lesson includes two videos: one that focuses on instruction and one that provides guided practice. The videos themselves are also available in the Teacher Toolkit for all users, regardless of the state you teach in.

Jacelyn Spicer
Jacelyn Spicer is a Lead Curriculum Developer at Edmentum whose mouth waters every August as she anticipates eating freshly-picked currant tomatoes straight from her garden. When she’s not whispering to the bees or peeking at the monarchs in her backyard, she tries to come up with witty things to write on her letterboard. In previous lives, she taught second through fifth grade and helped develop high-stakes assessments. Jacelyn holds a B.A. in Economics from Indiana University and an M.A.T. in Elementary Mathematics from Marygrove College. She works remotely from Carmel, Indiana, where she enjoys volunteering in the library at her daughter’s elementary school and works to support urban agriculture efforts to bolster food security and banish food deserts.
