Join the 2022 Edmentum Inspiring Educator Awards + Educator Summit

Calling all Edmentum educators! The Edmentum Educator Network is a community with the goal to facilitate opportunities to help educators connect with one another, collaborate, and make their voices heard in conversations about the future of classroom technology.

When we created the Edmentum Educator Network, we knew that we wanted in-person events to be a priority. Thanks to technology like smartphones, social media, and email, we are online all of the time and always connecting, but nothing beats slowing down and spending focused, quality time with other human beings. That’s where our 2022 Inspiring Educator Summit comes into play.

A few years ago, we were so excited to host our first Educator Summit, a two-day, in-person conference created by educators, for educators. We’ve been blown away by the enthusiasm of the educators who have attended our Summit each year, the outstanding insights they've offered on topics like social-emotional learning (SEL) and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and the genuine connections built between attendees and Edmentum employees.

This year, we are joining Edmentum’s Inspiring Educator and Educator of the Year Awards with the Network’s Educator Summit and building a cohort of exceptional educators from all over the country. This inaugural class of terrific teachers and administrators will represent the culmination of a nationwide search, bringing together voices from diverse educational backgrounds with one thing in common—to drive learning success.

Edmentum’s Inspiring Educator Awards feature a class of top educators each year—both teachers and administrators are encouraged to participate. Winners gain access to exciting prizes and opportunities.

Each year, the chosen class is honored with national recognition on our website, blog, and more, as well as an invitation to join the Edmentum Educator Network with exclusive access to upcoming events. The 2022 class will also receive an exclusive invitation and scholarship to attend the 2022 Inspiring Educator Summit at Edmentum’s office in Richardson, Texas, on November 10–11, 2022.  

But, we won’t stop there! Following acceptance of all Inspiring Educator Award winners, we will launch a nationwide survey to select our Educator(s) of the Year winner and Administrator of the Year winner from the Inspiring Educators pool of nominees. During the 2022 Inspiring Educator Summit, we will announce the winners of the Educator of the Year and Administrator of the Year Awards.

What are the makings of an Edmentum Inspiring Educator?

We’re looking for educators who meet all the following criteria:

• You are an educator. Whether in the classroom, central office, or administration, if you are part of the educational world and have a story to tell, we want to hear it.
   
• You have a successful and inspiring implementation story to share. Tell us your unique point of view and solution to an issue that educators and students are facing.
   
• You incorporate innovative and engaging instructional strategies. Share what creative strategies you are using to make your students/educators successful and how you are motivating them for success.
   
• You use technology. Whether in the classroom or as part of a district implementation, we want to know how you are using technology to impact change.
   
• You are available to attend the Edmentum Educator Summit. You are available to travel to Edmentum’s office in Richardson, Texas, to share your insight into inspiring educational perspectives at our Summit, November 10–11, 2022.

Please note: Only U.S. educators are eligible to complete. As Edmentum employees, EdOptions Academy teachers are welcome to apply for the Summit attendance but will not be eligible for the Inspiring Educator of the Year Award.  

How do you apply to become an Edmentum Inspiring Educator and attend the Inspiring Educator Summit?

Submissions will be accepted from Thursday, September 1, to Thursday, September 29, 2022.
