Study Island Feature Focus: Power User Program

With the new school year, we at Edmentum have launched a collection of new features and enhancements to our Study Island program! In addition to a newly refreshed interface, we have also released a brand new program designed to help you maximize your use of the program. One of these new features is our Power User Program, designed to aid in your continued growth and implementation. We understand that you may have new teachers who are unfamiliar with Study Island and in need of a high level overview of the program, or maybe you are a Study Island veteran but are in need a refresher on a particular feature or topic before the year is in full swing.

Within the Power User Program, brief 1-2 minute video lessons are designed to walk you through specific features and functionalities, give you a better understanding of the program, and help you get started with your implementation faster. In the screenshot below, you can also see green apples that will give you access to a brief introduction video to each topic, and result summaries that show progress towards becoming an Edmentum Power User. You prove mastery at the end of each topic by answering a collection of questions, and, just like your students, the goal is to earn a Blue Ribbon.

With the Power User program, our goal is to help you master the topics and features of Study Island in order to get the most benefit from the program in your classroom. It’s our latest tool to support your success, and we’re excited to see the results in the upcoming school year!
