Study Island Summer 2020 Enhancements

We are delighted to share with you what we have developed just in time for the next school year! Study Island is a crowd favorite when it comes to boosting student achievement.  Whether inside the classroom or assigning content virtually, educators can feel confident that students are receiving quality, standards-based practice and instruction in math, ELA, science and social studies. Oh, and students love it too! 

This summer, we’ve focused on enhancements in three areas: alignment, insights, time savings. 

Alignment: As states change their standards to address the evolving knowledge that students will need to be successful in college and the workforce, Study Island content is also updated to reflect those standards. Educators can trust that when students are working in Study Island they are building proficiency on the most up-to-date standards.

Insights:  With more insightful and easier to understand reporting, you can be certain that what is being TAUGHT in the classroom is being CAUGHT by your students at the individual and classroom level.   

Time Savings: We’re giving you more time to focus on what matters the most – your students by reducing the time you spend on administrative tasks within Study Island.

Edmentum Online Navigator

Technology should make teachers' lives easier and give them more time to do what they do best - teach, encourage, motivate, and inspire their students. Content Enhancements

What makes Study Island unique is that the items for each state are 100% aligned to the state’s standards and use question types and even question stems that mimic the state test. The standards mastery and practice approach can be integrated into classroom instruction whether that instruction happens in a physical school building or at home.
