Study Island’s technology-enhanced item types are designed to promote higher-order thinking and inquiry and prepare students for more rigorous and interactive web-based exams. You can create your own writing prompts using our WYSIWYG editor or use one of our prewritten writing prompts with built-in rubrics.

Brand-new games are added to Study Island regularly. The games feature enhanced animation technology and are organized based on difficulty for a variety of age groups with a goal of keeping students motivated as they work toward mastering their state standards.
