We’re Hosting a Contest to Celebrate You and Your Students’ Love for Learning!

It’s our priority to make sure that educators’ voices are heard (have you checked out our favorite hashtag, #EducatorFirst?). In turn, we know that for educators, it’s your prerogative to ensure that students voices are heard. As Edmentum team members work with educators in the classroom every day, we’re consistently blown away by the commitment to students we see, and the impact it makes. It takes a deep love of learning to be an educator, and that love gets instilled in students. For our team, it’s so cool to see this cycle in action.

Now, we’d love to hear about that enthusiasm for learning that we witness from you and your students’ perspectives—which is why we created our Love for Learning contest! We’re asking all educators who use Edmentum programs to submit original print or digital projects that demonstrate your and your students’ unique passion for learning and experience with Edmentum. And, for a little incentive, One grand prize winner will receive a $1,000 Amazon gift card, and first, second, and third place winners in the print and digital categories* will receive $500, $200, and $100 Amazon gift cards.

Sound broad? It is! This contest is meant to be all about you and your students, and provide an opportunity to let your creativity run wild. Film a video, write a poem, design a poster, animate a GIF— the format is up to you, we just want to hear about why you love learning with Edmentum. And, you can enter as an individual, submit a group entry with fellow teachers and administrators, or get your students involved to submit class-wide or small-group entries. 

Here are just a few ideas to get your creative juices flowing:

• Create a class scrapbook for each student to document what he or she loves about learning and how you use Edmentum
• Host a staff ‘lunch and learn’ where you and your fellow colleagues can share your favorite classroom technology tips and how they support learning (film the event for your entry!)
• Make a classroom time capsule to showcase the tools that make learning meaningful for you and your students in 2018
