“If you wanna change the world, start off by making your bed. If you make your bed every morning, you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride and encourage you to do another task.” McRaven remarked. Often, when we make goals for ourselves, we often aim for large ones. However, how can we be expected to accomplish big goals when we can’t accomplish the small tasks needed to get there. Working toward a big goal is like running a marathon, not sprinting. It takes time, energy, and sustained motivation to get you there.
