[Weekly Inspiration] Inspiring Life Lessons Learned from Lesser Known US Presidents

February is a month that celebrates the life and accomplishments of the United States long history of presidents. When thinking about influential presidents, many people first think about presidents like George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, or Theodore Roosevelt. While their accomplishments tend to take precedence in the minds of Americans (and for good reason too) there are often a group of presidents who are left out, due to their lesser-known contributions.

Nevertheless, these presidents were still important in our country’s history and deserve some recognition from time to time! Here’s a few of our favorite inspiring quotes from presidents who don’t appear on dollar bills or pennies:

“Times change, and we change with them.” – William Henry Harrison (#9)

“Change is inevitable, growth is intentional.” – Millard Fillmore (#13)

“Every expert was once a beginner.” – Rutherford B. Hayes (#19)

“In the time of darkest defeat, victory may be nearest.” – William McKinley (#25)

“There's good in everybody. Boost. Don't knock.” – Warren G. Harding (#29)
