What’s New from Edmentum’s Study Island

We are so excited for the new school year! In preparation, we have just released a variety of new and updated features and programs in Study Island that are sure to help you get off to a good start. Read on to learn more, and join us on Wednesday, August 24, from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM CDT for a live webinar where members of our Product Management team will review all of the great new features released this summer!

Refreshed Interface

With the new school year, we are bringing a new look to the Study Island interface! None of your functionality or navigation has changed, and you will still be able to access all of the great features of the program in the same way. We've simply given your student and educator interfaces a nice refresh. 

New Games

We know that students love our games, and we are so excited to share that we have just released two more: Sushi Toss and Balloon Pilot! These two new games are sure to excite and engage your students as they work through their practice and assignments. 

New and Updated Content and Benchmarks

To maintain close alignment with changing state and national standards, we have released several updates to our standards mastery content this summer for five states and our ACT and SAT programs. These updates are automatically being made available to all customers who own the corresponding products, ensuring that you always have the most up-to-date content. We have also released brand new benchmark assessments that reflect the latest standards in Indiana, Ohio, North Carolina, and Texas.

Power User Program 

We are dedicated to supporting your success with Study Island, and we know that you may have new teachers who are unfamiliar with the program or experienced teachers who are in need of a quick refresh. Our brand new Power User Program, designed to quickly get you up and running for the school year, includes brief video lessons and activities that will walk you through specific features and functionality. The goal of the Power User program for your teachers is just like the goal for your students—to earn a Blue Ribbon for each topic.
