ISTE 2014 is now LESS than two weeks away, and we’re counting down the days (11!) until we head out to Atlanta. At our booth (#2014 – yep, just like last year), visitors will be able to take the Solution Playbook Challenge, as we mentioned in last week’s blog post, and we’ll also be giving 10-Minute Game Changer presentations throughout each day. These short presentations will help visitors get new ideas for blended learning, learn more about different solutions for English language learners, find tools for creating collaboration around data, and much more. All 10-Minute Game Changer attendees will be entered to win an iPad mini. To see our full presentation schedule, stop by our booth or click here.
One of the many sneak peeks into our upcoming Edmentum product innovations that will be shown during these presentations is EducationCity V2. Ever since we started sharing it with educators at ASCD in Los Angeles this past March, we’ve been almost giddy with excitement about the upcoming new user experience for EducationCity V2, available in August of 2014. After more than two years of gathering feedback from our customers, V2 was created to make sure we’re giving prekindergarten through sixth grade educators and their students the best experience possible with our EducationCity solutions for math, science, language arts, and English language learners. Not to brag too much, but we’ve been receiving lots of positive responses from those who have had a chance to try out V2, and we’re really looking forward to hearing what ISTE attendees have to say about it!
If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, the EducationCity V2 demo tour is available here before the actual program launches in 48 days (see, we told you we’re excited!). All of the engaging EducationCity content is aligned to state and Common Core standards, and we’ve enhanced our Standards Map to make it very easy for educators to find activities, lesson plans, worksheets, and other great resources for each objective. We’ve also updated the MyCity feature to allow teachers to assign classwork and homework to individual students, groups, or whole classrooms with just a few clicks so that they can easily differentiate their instruction and customize assignments. As students complete their homework or classwork, Success Tracker monitors individual student progress in real time through their unique logins, so it’s easy to keep students moving forward toward their academic achievement goals.
We hope to see you at ISTE 2014 in Atlanta, but if you aren’t able to join us in person, there will be plenty of updates coming through Edmentum’s blog, as well as our Facebook and Twitter accounts. Subscribe, like, or follow us now to make sure you don’t miss any of the ISTE 2014 excitement!
See you next Tuesday! Let’s Team Up!
