Hope. With everything that has happened in the year 2020, the word “hope” is not something I currently hear expressed by my former and present colleagues in education.
Peter Grimm serves as Edmentum's Director of Academy Program Development. Before joining Edmentum, he served as a teaching and learning director in Minnesota, capping a 27-year career in public education. Peter holds an Ed.S. in K-12 Administration from Concordia University and an M.S. in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota.

We designed our STEM PBL activities with the goal of cultivating 21st century workplace skills, helping students develop higher-order thinking (get students creating!), increasing student agency, and ultimately, providing opportunities for sustained inquiry.
Modern classrooms are being transformed by technology. Recent, dramatic increases in student access to technology through bring-your-own-device (BYOD) and 1:1 initiatives have provided teachers with blended and virtual learning opportunities for their students that can fundamentally change how learning occurs. As the traditional classroom evolves into an environment rich in technology, educators are looking for guidance on how to choose the best educational technology (edtech) solutions.
